Why You Can't "Remember" Your Way to Better Posture

It's not your fault, why you can't effectively REMEMBER to keep "better" posture.


Posture, like breathing is automatic. I mean, you can remember to take a deep breath once in a while, but not always, and thankfully breathing goes on without us being constantly mindful. So does posture.


We can remember, a few seconds out of every 24-hour day, to "straighten up," but the rest of the day, and night even when we're sleeping, our posture is set by muscle balance, tone, flexibility and other factors.


Our 3 to 6 week posture intensives change the way your body automatically stands, sits and moves; waking or sleeping. We address trigger points that prevent your stretching effectively, release them and regain your muscles' ability to fully lengthen and contract. Once the 'rubber bands' of your muscles can allow your bones to rest in a comfortable, pain-free position, we strengthen the opposing musculature to 'hold' you, passively, in a better position. By better, we mean your resting muscle tone and the flexible length of your muscles, will hold your skeleton in positions, while you're sitting, moving or lying down, that prevent pain and degeneration. You'll learn ways to KEEP the balance of tone and flexibility throughout the rest of your life. In other words, it's not just a few-week fix; this is a course anyone can use at ANY age, that you can always draw on whenever you notice you're out of alignment. "Move Taller" posture correction helps 15-year olds carrying heavy backpacks, mom's getting their bodies back, any-age-olds who slouch from driving, working or computering, and 95-year olds needing to regain their height, balance and confidence.
